Thunder over Louisville
Shawn came to visit us from Missouri this weekend, we were so glad to have him here. We went to Thunder over Louisville on Saturday; it is the kick-off to the two week long Kentucky Derby Festival. Thunder is the largest pyrotechnics show in North America, there was approximately 800,000 people there this year - there was also an air show. Check out some of the pictures Shawn took below.

Nap Time
Sorry for the shortage of posts.
I saw this video this morning and thought it was so cute. We have had three babies born to families in our church this week. I wish nap time could be this happy for all parents.

ajaxWrite is a powerful word processor that can read and write Microsoft Word formatted documents. Anytime you need a word processor, need to open a .doc file or edit a .doc file, simply point your Firefox browser at ajaxWrite.com and in seconds a full-featured program will be loaded. For 90 percent of the people in the world, the need to buy Microsoft Word just vanished. This won't make Microsoft happy, but software users should be very excited that software just got cheaper, immediate and modern.

TV Junkie II
I did a little research online before the "TV Preview" Friday night and found out it was a scam. Apparently, they have been "previewing" the same two television shows since 2001. One being "City" staring Valerie Harper which aired in 1990 for a few short months. Instead this was market research for the commercials shown during the television shows. Glad I looked into this before we wasted an entire Friday evening filing out surveys on what kind of paper towels, deodorant, and shampoo we use.
Since we are talking about TV, TLC always gets a quick laugh from me with their show titles. - TLC has two new shows coming out this month.
Shalom in the Home will follow Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a family and relationship counselor, as he helps families create a peaceful and happy home life.
Honey We're Killing the Kids! offers a startling look at the causes of America's childhood obesity epidemic and issues a critical wake-up call for parents. Using state-of-the-art computer imaging, nutrition expert, Dr. Lisa Hark, gives the parents a frightening look at a picture of what their child may look like at the age of forty, if they continue current dietary habits. (The pictures are from the British show.)
