Cave Hill Cemetery

We drove through Cave Hill Cemetery this morning after church. We were surprised when we came upon this grave site; supposedly Sander's daughter created this sculpture of the Colonel. I will try to go back and take more pictures from this cemetery, the stones are quite elaborate.

Hmmm....interesting. I know a story or two* about the fried chicken king, but not many Sanders in my database.

*Such as he was to have a fried egg sandwich for breakfast early one morning in Junction City, Kansas, but the runway was too short for his Lear Jet to land??

I think I have just realized some genealogy regarding the Colonel regarding the name "Cummings"! More later.
